ABOUT THREE RIVERS REGIONAL WASTEWATER AUTHORITY
Managing Wastewater for Longview, Kelso, Beacon Hill Water & Sewer District, & Cowlitz County
The Three Rivers Regional Wastewater Authority (TRRWA) is a municipal corporation organized pursuant to a Washington Joint Municipal Utility Services Agreement between Cowlitz County, the City of Longview, the City of Kelso, and Beacon Hill Water & Sewer District. The TRRWA provides all necessary treatment facilities, transmission facilities and wastewater services to receive and treat wastewater collected by its members within the service area. The TRRWA has two Boards: Board of Directors and Operating Board. Each entity has appointed a member and an alternate member to represent that entity. TRRWA Operating Board meetings are typically held on the third Wednesday of each month and the Board of Directors’ meeting are typically held on the third Wednesday of June and December at the Three Rivers Regional Wastewater Authority Plant. The Chairman position for both Boards rotate entities each calendar year.
Mission Statement
To always provide the best possible wastewater and biosolids treatment for the citizens served by the Three Rivers Regional Wastewater Authority in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations and in accordance with the policies set by the Three Rivers Regional Wastewater Authority; thereby, ensuring public health safety, protection of the receiving stream, and protection of the environment.

Goal Statements
To operate all processes within the Three Rivers Regional Wastewater Plant in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible;
To maintain all equipment at the Three Rivers Regional Wastewater Plant in an operable condition at all times (other than for planned maintenance);
To periodically review and evaluate current operations and procedures and to modify or eliminate those which are ineffective in achieving our mission and goals;
To review, evaluate, and implement new and/or different procedures and technologies which will assist in achieving our mission and goals; and
To deal courteously and honestly with the public and to respond to their needs and requests as they relate to the service provided.
